SIA Srl, acronym for “Società Ingegneria Applicata”, is a company that has been operating in the industrial sector since 1982 and now has more than 35 direct employees. It focuses on the DESIGN, PRODUCTION, and MRO&U of special equipment and plants in the FLUIDIC and MECHANICAL sectors of Aerospace and Defense; Precision Mechanics; Additive Manufacturing; Railway; Process Automation. The engineering area, made up of over 10 qualified engineers, manages design requests from customers such as Leonardo SPA, Hitachi SPA and Alstom SPA to design the structures or machines dedicated to them in a 3D environment. The designs are then carried out in the approximately 2000 m2 factory through the mechanics, welding and assembly sectors. Sia has also focused on the Metrology and Additive sectors in order to complete its ability to internalize customer needs.
